It's Monday! What are you reading? February 1, 2010

It's Monday! What are you reading this week? is a weekly event to celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week. Feel free to join in this weekly event if you'd like as well as use the photo/pic/button above. Thanks J. Kaye for hosting!

Last week I finished:
Scone and Sensibility by Lindsay Eland - a super cute read (click for review)

I started Fade by Lisa McMann but realized I had another YA debut book to read that was released in December so only counted towards the challenge in January! I then moved onto The Lonely Hearts Club by Elizabeth Eulberg (click for review)

I also started The Secret Year by Jennifer Hubbard - an awesome story so far!

This week:

I'm finishing The Secret Year by Jennifer Hubbard hopefully tonight :)

I'm finishing Fade, then reading Gone by Lisa McMann.

It's my son's 3rd birthday tomorrow so I'm keeping this reading week light.

What are you reading this week?

  1. I'm going to read Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.

  2. I wish two books in a week was light for me.
    Happy Birthday to your son!

  3. Glad you enjoyed Scones. I am going to keep that in mind when I want something cute.

    Have a great reading week.

  4. The Secret Year is wonderful. Glad to hear good things about Scones and Sensibility and The Lonely Hearts Club.

  5. I *really* want to read Scones & Sensibility as well as those Lisa McMann's books. Very great choice of books to be read over there =)

  6. Can't wait to read your thoughts in Fade. I have Gone, and started reading it yesterday, but it's just toooooo freaky for my timid little brain.

I am STILL reading, Wolf Hall, A Lion Among Men, and I just started The Triumph of Deborah.

  7. Scones and Sensibility sounds cute, I may give that one a try

  8. Your books sound good! Have a wonderful week and enjoy your three year old! :)
