In My Mailbox - October 2, 2011



In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by The Story Siren where we show what books have found a new home with us!

This week I squeed a few times :D


Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor - I've seen numerous people rave about this one, plus I enjoyed her previous book Lips Touch: Three Times, so I HAD to get this!

Clockwork Prince by Cassie Clare - Cassie is one of my all time favorite writers, I love her world building.

The Demon's Surrender by Sarah Rees Brennan - This is one series I have yet to start and know I will love. When I was at Word on the Street Toronto, I saw this one the Simon & Schuster table...and it was only $6!!! Now that I own the complete trilogy, I really should have a reading marathon...that is the one benefit to starting it late :D

    Oh I just finished Smoke and Bone yesterday and it was awesome! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! I also need to start Clockwork Angel. I loved her Mortal Instruments series but haven't started this one yet for some reason.

    Oh you are going to be blown away by DOSM. It's absolutely gorgeous.

    I've never read anything by Cassandra Clarke, but I have Clockwork Angel on my Kindle!

    I've heard people raving about Daughter of Smoke and Bone as well... But I'm not sure, maybe you can convince me after you've read it :)

    That's exciting that you got a copy of Clockwork Prince. I am really looking forward to reading it. I still need to read Demon's Surrender and I have heard great things about Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I hope you enjoy all of these!

    All of these looks really good! I need to pick up my copy of Smoke & Bone...I swear I eyeball it everytime I walk by my shelf! And one of these days, I'll have to read something by Cassie Clare---strangely enough, I have quite a few of her book but have never read them!

    Okay, I am dying to read Daughter of Smoke & Bone now.. I keep hearing great things about it.. I just gotta get through my large pile of books before buying more (for now.. hehe)

    I only read the first of the City of Bones(?) series.. been meaning to catch up so I can check out all her other stuff!
