In My Mailbox / Mailbox Monday - October 4-5, 2009
In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by The Story Siren
and thanks to Marcia at The Printed Page for hosting Mailbox Monday.
My goodies this week:
I think I may watch the Sense & Sensibility movie for comparison ;)
Three tales of supernatural love that all hinge on that life-changing moment when lips touch.
This one looks really fun...and I love cover :)
Everyone’s heard of it...but nobody’s read it. Luke, Seth, and Kady have heard all the stories about Malice – a secret comic about a strange, awful world of tricks and traps, overseen by a sinister master of ceremonies, Tall Jake. But if rumours are to be believed the children in this comic are real…
You MUST see the cover of this..it's 3D!!!
Even though your vampire’s skin is translucent, he can still be very hard to read. Sometimes he’s simply holding back his true feelings…and other times…well, he’s just not that into you. How can you tell? Undead dating specialist Vlad Mezrich has all the answers you need to get your vampire and keep him forever!
Perfect for anyone who got sucked into the Twilight books, it is too cute :)

I wonder if Malice would be good for my comic book loving pre-teen? The illustration on the cover looks a bit like the Lemony Snicket illustrations to me.

ReplyDeleteWendi, Beth & reviewsbylola ~ it looks so silly, lol
Kristen ~ sorry I don't have Lemony for a comparison but had a peak at my book. It's almost 400 pages & I'd say 25% of it is comic pages, broken out in 6 parts throughout the book. Hope that helps ya.
Ann Marie ~ it really is cute :)I think it'd make the perfect stocking stuffer for Twilight fans ;)
I enjoyed P&P and Zombies I hope Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters turns out to be fun too. :)
